Panopreter is a text to speech and text to mp3 software program. It reads text, txt files, rtf files, pdf files, web pages, and Microsoft Word documents with natural sounding voices. It also reads the text copied to the Windows clipboard from any other software window. Furthermore, the software converts the text and files to spoken audio files in wav and mp3 formats, so that you can listen to the audio with a mp3 player later at your convenience. It includes a toolbar for Internet Explorer that reads the text on the web pages, and converts the text to mp3 and wav audio files. It also includes an add-in for Microsoft Word, which will read the Word document aloud, and convert the text audio files. Users can adjust the audio file's sample rate and bit rate to obtain satisfactory audio quality. Users can also customize volume, voice speed and pitch, text font size, text color, window color, and toolbar positions. The word or sentence being read will be highlighted. Panopreter supports various languages and voices, Unicode fonts, as well as batch file conversion.
